We're focusing on 5 unlikely people in the lineage of Jesus. Each have a messy story that has been redeemed by God. God turns messy stories into messages of grace and hope for the world.

The story leading up to Jesus's birth is not perfect and contains many flawed people. Rahab is an unlikely woman to fit into this story. Today, we see how her faith sets her free from a checkered past into glorious future.

We're focusing on 5 unlikely people in the lineage of Jesus. Each have a messy story that has been redeemed by God. God turns messy stories into messages of grace and hope for the world.

An unlikely person from Jesus lineage is found in Gen 38. It's a classic hero and villain story with a surprising twist as God redeems a messy situation and God chooses these scandalous people to be the forefathers of Jesus.

There's a gravitational pull away from revival back to mediocrity. After some time, Nehemiah encounters the people of God in a state of spiritual apathy. Boldly, he sets forth a series of reforms to spiritually restart the people of God back to the heart of God. We will explore our own reforms that are needed to ensure corporately we are creating an environment where God's presence can move.

The time arrived after the hearts of the people are turned to the Lord, that they dedicate the wall and the city of God. In response, they bring their tithes and offerings to the Lord. We'll study the history of the tithe, freewill offerings, and principles of the generosity throughout the bible.

The Bible is full of lists of names that we don't know doing things that don't seem important, but there is significance in the ordinary. They were people consistently being faithful in the mundane while experiencing spiritual renewal in their lives. God has called us to view the ordinary parts of our lives as significant for His name.
