The True Gospel: The Victory Has Been Won

Sermon Series:

Christ, the ultimate victory has already been secured. Yet from the very beginning, this truth has been under attack. Satan has worked tirelessly to distort the message, casting doubt on God's sovereignty, Christ's sufficiency, and the gift of salvation.

In the book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, writes urgently to the churches of Galatia to confront these very distortions. He calls them back to the True Gospel, reminding them that the victory is already won and challenging them to reject the lies and remain faithful.

Join Pastor Joe Storey, Student Pastor at FBC, as he guides us through chapter one of Galatians and helps us rediscover the power, clarity, and freedom of the Gospel.

The constant companion of destiny is doubt and distraction. Before David could face the giant, he had to face much opposition from those who weren't in the fight. We will look at the 3 attacks from the enemy that we will all face when we choose to live out God's call on our lives.

David approached the battle with Goliath through a heart of faith and not fear. He measured the giant through the size of hls God and not God through the size of the giant.  He realized this enemy in front of him was not an obstacle but an opportunity to fulfill the destiny God had on his life. The challenges of life are not meant to destroy us but to reveal God's power through our lives.

Being anointed we must develop the gifts that God has given to us. Often times we want the benefit of the gift without putting in the work to develop it. David was faithful in pursuing his gifts in the secret place so that when it was time God would use his talent and put him at use in the palace.
