Where do I park?
We have plenty of parking accross form our church building. We also have several hadicap and new and expecting mothers parking between our buildings. We want to take care of all of our guests.
Is there something for my kids?
Rockwood First Baptist Church’s Children’s Ministry seeks to teach through learning, music, movement, and fun activities. Children’s Ministry activities guide our children from six weeks old through the 5th grade toward building a Biblical foundation rooted in the love and example of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our children can explore their faith and curiosity in age-appropriate lessons and activities throughout the year.
What does a Typical Service look like?
Everyone is welcome at Rockwood First Baptist. You will find people dressed casually and in their "Sunday Best" ready to worship the Lord and lean deep into God's Word. Our worship service is currently a blended service. We have a nursery and children's church ministry ready to serve your children. We look forward to meeting you at our next service.
How do I join the church?
Currently, to join Rockwood First Baptist, an individual will need to speak directly to Pastor Drew Stockton. Pastor Stockton will provide information about what our church believes and how we are governed as a body. After speaking with Pastor Stockton he can recommend individuals to the church for membership. Membership.
What are connection groups?
Whether you refer to them as Connection Groups, Bible Studies, or Sunday School, at Rockwood First Baptist Church, these groups are where meaningful relationships are formed, where mutual support is provided, and where we delve deeply into God's Word. Our Sunday school program offers classes for all ages, aiming to go beyond mere lectures and factual presentations. We strive for our Sunday School Groups to foster connections among members, fostering relationships that support spiritual growth in Christ. Regardless of your age or life circumstances, there's a place for you here. Join us every Sunday morning at 9:15 AM for our connection groups.
How can I get involved in serving?
Ministry Servants are a vital part of our church community. God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities, and there are many different ways to serve. Positions of leadership and influence require individuals to be church members, but anyone who is attending Rockwood First Baptist on a regular basis can serve as a Ministry Servant.
